MORTAR COMPOSITION

A mortar composition obtained by kneading mortar materials which comprise 25 to 45 parts by weight of a high-early-strength portland cement, 40 to 60 parts by weight of an aggregate, 10 to 25 parts by weight of water, and 0.05 to 1.5 parts by weight of a polycarboxylic acid water-reducing agent and include no organic adhesive, characterized by having an adhesion strength, as measured at 7 days after application in accordance with JIS A 6916, of 1.0 N/mm2 or higher. Since mortar ingredients have been evenly dispersed in the water, the mortar composition has the significantly high ability to penetrate into an adherend surface and comes to have a satisfactory adhesion strength after cure.
