<p>This invention discloses a separator for a lithium secondary battery, method for producing thereof, and a lithium ion secondary battery using the thereof. The separator comprises a porous film including a polyolefin resin; and a coating solution coated on the porous film and containing a nonflammable compound and an adhesive resin for fixing the nonflammable compound. The lithium ion secondary battery manufactured by this invention provide an improved safety and better electrochemical performance such as charge/discharge characteristics and cycle life.</p> |
