The coil arrangement has a coil (7), e.g. a local coil, followed by a modulator (15) for modulation of a carrier frequency by the magnetic resonance signal, before supplying the modulated signal to a transmission cable (4), provided at its opposite end with a corresponding reception circuit (1) having a demodulator for restoration of the magnetic resonance signal. Also included are Independent claims for the following: (a) a reception circuit for a magnetic resonance signal; (b) a magnetic resonance apparatus.
