A double coated adhesive tape provided with rows of punching holes for interconnecting a first web being used for shaping a cigarette rod with a second web on standby and extending in the longitudinal direction of the web. A tape feeder for suspending the double coated adhesive tape down is also provided in a feeding position between a main feeding passage of the first web and a sub-feeding passage of the second web.
