Method for feeding a material web, especially a paper web, into a meander-shaped web path that has at least one winding section with at least three sequential cooling rollers. The second cooling roller (13) of the at least three rollers (9, 13, 15) takes up a feed-in position (42) so that the material web can be pulled in a straight line and is then moved into an operating position after the web has been fed in. The invention also relates to a corresponding device for pulling in a material web, a cooling roller stand and a roller offset printer.
