An air freshener comprises a liquid perfume (not shown) enclosed in a liquid tight container (1), with the container (1) comprising a perfume vapour permeable portion (3) so as to allow scented vapour to escape the container (1) whilst preventing any spillage or leakage of the liquid contained therein.
