A pharmaceutical composition for administering a compound represented by the general formula (I) or the like and a compound represented by the general formula (II) either simultaneously or separately at a time interval: (I) (II) wherein X is a benzimidazole ring group; Y<sp>1</sp> is oxygen or sulfur; Z is a thiazolidinedione group or the like; R is hydrogen, C1−6 alkyl, or the like; m is an integer of 1 to 5; R<sp>a</sp> is bromo or iodo; R<sp>b</sp> is hydrogen, halogeno, or the like; R<sp>c</sp> is −NR<sp>k</sp>OR<sp>l</sp> [wherein R<sp>k</sp> is hydrogen or the like; and R<sp>l</sp> is C3−10 cycloalkyl or the like]; and R<sp>d</sp>, R<sp>e</sp> and R<sp>f</sp> are each independently hydrogen, halogeno, or the like.
