摘要 A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus executes a first sequence and a second sequence. During the first sequence, in order to suppress generation of artifacts generated when a linear or non−linear phase error is present, a high−frequency magnetic field pulse is applied to an examinee and after this, phase encode is applied and read−out direction inclination magnetic field is repeatedly applied while inversing its polarity, thereby acquiring a plurality of echo signals. During the second sequence, after the high−frequency magnetic field pulse is applied to the examinee, phase encode is applied and the read−out direction inclination magnetic field is repeatedly applied while inversing its polarity with respect to the polarity of the read−out direction inclination magnetic field in the identical phase encode amount of the first sequence, thereby acquiring a plurality of echo signals. Signal processing means reconfigures an image by complex addition between echo signals having an identical phase encode amount obtained by the first sequence and the second sequence.
