Connecting device for masts,poles and similar carrying structures which are mounted on a base(11)at a roadway,particularly at roads and streets,wherein the upper end of the base(11)and the lower end of the pole structure(22)each carries or is integrated with a mounting plate(16,21)and provide an angle with the axis of the pole structure,which have holes for at least one connecting member maintaining the two mounting plates(16,21)together in an operating relationship.The connecting member or members is/are adopted to lose integrity or fracture upon a sideways impact over a certain level,such as at the impact of a motor vehicle.The connecting devices comprises at least one pressure member(1nn)for providing pressure load between the mounting plates(16,21)and for keeping them apart at a predetermined distance.Further it comprises at least one shear member(3nn)primarily for taking shear load.Finally,it comprises at least one tension member(2nn)to provide a tension load between the mounting plates(16,21).The load on the pressure member(1nn)is provided by the tension member(2nn)and/or the pressure member.
