PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silenced type cutting blade of such a structure that a plurality of base boards are stacked one over another capable of heightening the strength of its base board without dropping the noise preventive effect. SOLUTION: The cutting blade is configured with a plurality of base boards 3 furnished with a mounting holes in the center and a plurality of cut grooves 5 at the peripheral edge and an abrasive grain layer 2 joined with the periphery of the base boards 3, and the boards 3 are stacked one over another with spacing material 8 interposed and fixed by spot welding 4 and sintering of the abrasive grain layer 2, while the spacing material 8 is placed in the region excluding the outside surfaces and the peripheral edges of the base board side faces, wherein the radial direction length of each cut groove 5 is made between 1% and 5% of the base board diameter, and the spot welding 4 is applied only to around the grooves 5 and around the mounting hole. The spot welding 4 for the grooves 5 is made at four or more points in such a way as surrounding each groove 5.
