APPARATUS FOR FILTERING COATING SOLUTION IN DRIP PAN TO COVER ORGANIC COATING ON PLATING STRIP

PURPOSE: An apparatus for filtering coating solution in drip pan to cover an organic coating on plating strip is provided to prevent surface defects in advance during organic coating of the strip by filtering bubbles or suspended solids generated from the coating solution in the drip pan. CONSTITUTION: In a drip pan in which a coating solution(10) is filled, and which is arranged so that a pick-up roll(20) for coating the coating solution(10) on a plating strip by picking up the coating solution(10) is partially immersed into the coating solution(10), the apparatus for filtering the coating solution in the drip pan to cover organic coating on the plating strip comprises a moving means(40) comprising a moving stand(42) installed so that it is moved along the wall(32) of the drip pan; an ammonia supply means(60) installed at the end part of the moving stand(42) to be connected and fixed to the inner side of the drip pan; and a filter means(80) comprising a filter mesh(84) which is mounted on the lower side of the ammonia supply means(60) to filter foreign materials flown into a body(82) integrally moving together with the moving stand(42) along the surface of the solution, and a bubble removing needle(86) movably installed at the outer wall of the body(82) to remove bubbles.
