PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly perform a color matching operation along with color matching before initiating a regular printing and during the regular printing. SOLUTION: The content of memory for storing a printing state is set as '0'. When a printing state switch is set in the '0' position, the memory for storing a printing state is set as '1'. When the content of the memory is set as '0' (NO of step 130), a first factor α1 is read, assuming that '0', means the color matching before initiating the regular printing (step 131). Further, the adjustment value of an aperture level of an ink key is multiplied by α1 and a correction value of the aperture level of each ink key is sought (step 133). When the memory for storing a printing state is set in the '1' position (YES of step 130), a second factor α2 (α1>α2) is read, assuming that '1' means the color matching during the regular printing (step 132) and the adjustment value of the aperture level of each ink key is multiplied by α2 to seek the correction value of the aperture level of each ink key (step 134). |
