PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus in which low power consumption is realized immediately after sleep mode and noise of a cooling means can be eliminated. SOLUTION: At the time of entering a sleep mode, a control section 4 for controlling heat sources, i.e., a CPU 1 and an ASIC 2, controls the CPU 1 and the ASIC 2 to operate in power saving mode at a stage earlier by the preceding sleep time. On the other hand, a fan control section 5 controls a fan 3 to operate in power saving mode upon entering the sleep mode. |
