PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot device which is more personal to the user than conventional. SOLUTION: The operating history and dialogue history of each user in the past and the robot feeling value are stored in a condition managing table 123. The robot device includes a person identifying means 108, and if this judges that a new encountered person is one who has used it before, a feeling/character producing means 106 makes reference to the current robot feeling value 122 and the past robot feeling value of that person stored in the table 123 and produces a new robot feeling value.
