PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasterboard and a plasterboard box for a party wall of an apartment house and the like, which can obtain required strength, fire resistance efficiency and sound insulating performance even in the penetration of piping. SOLUTION: This plasterboard for the party wall of the apartment house and the like comprises: a plasterboard body 1 in which first-layer and second- layer plasterboards 1A and 1B are bonded together by a dedicated incombustible adhesive; and a box 2 whose inside and outside layers are composed of plasterboard materials equal in quality to the plasterboards 1A and 1B, respectively, and which is manufactured by bonding the plasterboard materials together by the incombustible adhesive as in the case of the plasterboard body 1. The box 2 has the prescribed strength, fire resistance efficiency and sound insulating performance in spite of compact dimensions, by virtue of a constitution of a plurality of plasterboard material layers, and can also be singly handled separately from the plasterboard body 1. Thus, the plasterboard, which has the required strength, fire resistance efficiency, sound insulating performance, etc., can be used for the part wall of the apartment house, etc.
