<p>A lawnmower comprises a deck (1) defining a cutting chamber (11), the deck including an outlet (1 1a) for passage of cut grass from the cutting chamber. A cutter blade (12) is rotatable within the cutting chamber (11) about a substantially vertical axis. A grass collection receptacle (14), which includes an air-permeable region (14b) and an inlet (14a) for entry of the cut grass from the cutting chamber (11) is provided behind the cutting chamber. The deck (1) is mounted on wheels (8) at the front and rear thereof. The outlet (11a) of the cutting chamber (11) is aligned with the inlet (14a) of the grass collection receptacle (14), and the grass collection receptacle is positioned above the deck (1) within the wheelbase of the lawnmower. <IMAGE></p> |
