FUEL SWITCHING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ENGINE

PURPOSE: To prevent a shock in traveling felt at fuel switching in a fuel switching method and device for switching two types of fuel over to supply either to an engine. CONSTITUTION: The fuel switching device has a fuel switching switch 24, a deceleration detecting mechanism 23 for detecting vehicle deceleration and fuel switching mechanisms 14 and 19 for switching over fuel. The fuel switching mechanisms 14 and 19 switch over fuel after the fuel switching switch 24 is operated for switching and when the deceleration detecting mechanism 23 detects vehicle deceleration. The fuel switching is desirably made when the engine is approximately at 1,500 rpm.
