PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation efficiency of an air compressor. SOLUTION: When the requested air flow rate of an air consumption part 65 equipped with a fuel cell 23 and a fuel reformer 25 is lower than the rated flow rate of a first air compressor 1, control valves 39 and 57 are closed, and a control valve 61 is opened, whereby a second air compressor 3 is made to function as an expanding machine, and the power obtained by the drive of the expanding machine is supplied to a first electric motor 5. When the requested air flow rate of the air consumption part 65 is the rated flow rate of the first air compressor 1 or higher, the control valves 39 and 57 are opened, and the control valve 61 is closed, whereby the second air compressor 3 is made to function as a compressor. |
