<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing apparatus achieving a switchback means in a very compact size to greatly reduce the possibility of jams and, even in the event of a jam, easily clear it. SOLUTION: The sheet post-processing apparatus for receiving, stacking and aligning sheets discharged from an image forming apparatus includes a first feed path for receiving the sheets discharged from the image forming apparatus, a switchback path for reversing the sheets received, a second feed path for feeding the reversed sheets, and a third feed path for feeding the fed sheets onto a processing tray on which to stack and align the sheets. The switchback passage is positioned below the processing tray. The second feed path is formed along a sidewall of the sheet post-processing apparatus and at least a portion of the switchback passage is exposed.</p> |
