ASSEMBLING METHOD FOR ON-VEHICLE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assembling workability of an on-vehicle device. SOLUTION: This assembling method for the on-vehicle device is so formed that a pipe 32 for the device to be assembled and fitted in a cabin is inserted into a through hole 41 formed in a partition wall 40 partitioning the cabin R from an engine room E. After a grommet 50 is mounted in the outer circumferential side of the pipe 32, the outer circumferential side of a first flange part 51 of the grommet 50 is deformed toward the internal circumferential side as shown in Figure 2 (b) so that both of the pipe 32 and the grommet 50 can be inserted into the through hole 41 from the side of the cabin R. Therefore, the on-vehicle device including the grommet 50 can be assembled from one direction in the side of the cabin R.
