PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety cap which is lightweight, has low power consumption, does not obstruct operation of a wearer, has a low-cost cooling device and is suitable for operation without impairing essential performances of a safety cap such as strength or withstand voltage, etc., of a cap body. SOLUTION: An air blasting fan 7 and a battery case 16 are fixed to the rear part of the outside of the cap body 1 with screws or belts. An air blasting duct 13 is connected to the lower part of the air blasting fan 7. The air blasting duct 13 has one end connected to the supply opening 8c of the air blasting fan 7 and the other end opened in the vicinity of an air duct 3 in the cap body 1. The air duct 3 is positioned between a fixing body composed of a head band 5a, a hammock 5b and a ring string 5c and a shock absorbing liner 2. The air blasting duct 13 supplies open air supplied by the air blasting fan 7 to the air duct 3 in the cap body 1. Air in the air duct 3 is discharged from the front of the cap body 1 to the outside.
