PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for forming powdery material in which the remaining of the powdery material to an upper punch, etc., can be prevented when a formed material is compressively formed. SOLUTION: In the inner part of a punch holder 13, a piston cylinder 25, a piston 23 and an elastic body 29, are disposed and also, in the punch 11, a through-hole 27 communicated with the piston cylinder, is arranged. In the case of compressing the powdery material, the space in the piston cylinder communicated with the through-hole, is expanded with the elastic body, and in the case of taking out a formed material, the space in the cylinder is shrunk by limiting the shift of the rear end of the piston with a non-driven material and in this way, the air in this space is blown off from the through-hole to blow out the remain.
