PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the occurrence of crack in an intermediate nozzle. SOLUTION: In a structure of the nozzle for continuous casting arranging the intermediate nozzle 23 between slide valve 5 and a joining nozzle 25 of a straightening nozzle, an immersion nozzle, a lower nozzle, a long nozzle, etc., a metallic case 27 is fitted to the outer periphery of the above intermediate nozzle 23 and also, a recessed part 26 is formed at the lower end part of this intermediate nozzle 23. Then, at the upper end part of the above joining nozzle 25 joined with this intermediate nozzle a projected part 25a fitted to the above recessed part 26 is formed.
