The tolerant data processing system comprises input from various data flows, a categorization system through testing on the basis of various data modules, a storage system and a periodically considered correction system. The received data (phase 1) is accompanied by a type and identification code (phase 2). If this code is not yet known to the processing unit, it is administered. The data is then separately stored (phase 4) and by means of reference coupled to the identification code. The stored data is isolated and termed as a data unit. Directly after storage, this unit is tested on the basis of conditions from other data modules (phase 3). The single possible outcome from this testing is that the data is reliable or unreliable.
