A weathering system (100), e.g. one suitable for weathering plastic specimens, subjects a specimen (30) to successive weathering periods. After each period the color coordinates of the specimen are determined by a second system (102). This preferably contains a color catalogue system for fine tuning the coordinates. The data so derived can then be stored in a memory (103) or presented as a color image, e.g. in the form of a photograph. |
