POLYMER COMPOSITION FOR ELECTRIC WIRE COATING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinylidene fluoride-based composition having heat resistance capable of coping with heat generated when using an electric wire and having sufficient flexibility also after change with time as a polymer composition used as electric wire coating material. SOLUTION: This polymer composition for electric wire coating comprises a vinylidene fluoride-based copolymer and a vinylidene fluoride homopolymer. The polymer composition comprises preferably (A) 20-80 wt.% vinylidene fluoride copolymer preferably composed of 95-70 wt.% and 5-30 wt.% monomer which is copolymerizable with vinylidene fluorine and (B) 80-20 wt.% vinylidene fluoride homopolymer.
