PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reinforcing a wooden building characterized by opening lateral holes in adjacent beams or a beam and a girder at an intermediate connection part of a two-story through column of an existing house built by an existing wooden construction method, winding and fixing a carbon fiber cord material in the state of passing the carbon fiber cord material in the lateral holes, and solidifying the whole carbon fiber cord material with epoxy resin. SOLUTION: The carbon fiber cord material has a certain degree of flexibility and is not therefore fixed as it is deformed even if deformed by an earthquake or the like. As a result, it can be easily replaced. Using this method of reinforcing the wooden building, the distortion of the building can be easily corrected unlike the conventional one even at the occurrence of the earthquake.
