发明名称 METHOD FOR DESIGNING OPTIMUM SECOND COOLING PATTERN OF CONTINUOUS CASTER
摘要 PURPOSE: A method for designing optimum second cooling pattern of continuous caster is provided to satisfy the restricting conditions by setting casting speed, maximum allowable temperature, location of solidification completion point, superheat of molten steel and mold inflow temperature of molten steel as restricting conditions to improve productivity of strip cast. CONSTITUTION: The method for designing optimum second cooling pattern of continuous caster comprises first step(12,13) of calculating temperature of casting slab from an energy equation by taking the front row behavior of casting slab as a two-dimensional abnormal problem after giving initial and boundary conditions of operation in a continuous caster for continuously casting a casting slab; second step(14) of calculating a gradient of objective function by finite difference method using mathematical expressions derived in the present invention by calculating a set objective function value after calculating temperature of the casting slab; third step(15,16) of calculating temperature of the casting slab again using the corrected heat transfer coefficient after presuming heat transfer coefficient for second cooling zone corrected by calculating heat transfer coefficient in a direction for minimizing objective function using BFGS (Broydon-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno) method that is one of optimization techniques after calculating the gradient of objective function; and fourth step(17,18) of outputting an optimum second cooling pattern value if the objective function value is the minimum value and feedbacking the objective function value to the second step(14) again if the objective function value is not the minimum value by judging whether an objective function value using temperature distribution of the corrected casting slab does get to a minimum value or not.
