PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator constituted so that a plug member such as a front plug, a tail plug or the like is not detached at the time of general use but can be easily detached at the time of filling and replacement of a coating liquid. SOLUTION: In the applicator 1, the tail plug 3 is attached to one end of a main body cylinder 4 by a mounting keeping structure part 13 and fixed strongly. Further, a wavy inclined part 15 and a locking part 11 are respectively provided to the constricted part 14 in the main body cylinder 4 and the end of the tail cock 3. When the tail plug 3 is ready to be axially pulled out of the main body cylinder 4, considerably large pulling force is required axially but, if the tail plug 3 is twisted with respect to the main body cylinder 4, repulsive force is generated between the inclined part 15 and the locking part 11 by the twisting of the tail plug 3 and exceeds the locking force due to the mounting keeping structure part 13 and the main body cylinder 4 is axially pushed out and the tail plug 3 is easily detached from the main body cylinder 4. |
