PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a wire harness preventing severance when removing the wire harness from a discarded vehicle and capable of improving workability in removal of the wire harness. SOLUTION: The method for removing the wire harness from the vehicle by hooking the wire harness to a hook of a lifter in a disassembly process of the vehicle is characterized in that the wire harness W is removed by using a suspending tool 1 having hooking parts 3A and 3B to the hook in both end parts and a cord like or belt like body 2, winding the suspending tool body 2 so that a plurality of separated portions of the wire harness W are hooking positions, and hooking both hooking parts 3A and 3B to the hook of the lifter and lifting them.
