PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator preventing lowering of the capacity of a collector while enabling the efficient use of a coating solution tank and having good appearance. SOLUTION: The applicator has a relay core 18 for leading out the ink 16 in an ink tank 14 to the pen core 12 provided to the leading end of a shaft cylinder 10, the ink tank 14 set to the rear part of the shaft cylinder 10 of which the rear end is closed and filled with ink and the collector 20 for temporarily storing the outflow portion of the ink 16 accompanied by a rise in the pressure in the ink tank 14. The shaft cylinder 10 housing the ink tank 14 and the relay core 18 is filled with ink by a volume C=A+B wherein the amount A of ink capable of being absorbed by the pen core 12 and the relay core 18 is added to the ink corresponding to the volume B of the ink tank. |
