<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent combustion and explosion of combustibles in fear of occurrence during heat treatment of a plastic. SOLUTION: The plastic is regulated with a water content regulator 3 so as to contain >=20 kg of water in 1 kg of the plastic and the water is evaporated during heat treatment and before thermally decomposing the plastic. Steam generated in the process is utilized to remove oxygen from a heat-treating atmosphere of the plastic.</p> |
