<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic book management device for effectively accelerating the realization of an automatic book lending system requiring none of library clerk and allowing users to borrow books with their operation. SOLUTION: Lending procedures are made by specifying picked-up books 13 in accordance with book cards which are read out of radio tags 33 of all books 13 carried to stations 22, 24, 25 and stored in a container 12 before starting the pick-up of the books 13 by a tag reader/writer 63 and with book cards which are read out of radio tags 33 of all books 13 held in the stations 22, 24, 25 and stored in the container 12 after finishing the pick-up of the books 13.</p> |
