PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool valve capable of stably performing the switch control. SOLUTION: This spool valve 1 has barrel part 2 and operating parts 3a, 3b. The barrel part 2 is provided with various ports, and a valve chest 4 communicated to the ports. A pair of spools 15a, 15b are slidably stored in the valve chest 4. Outer end parts of the spools 15a, 15b are provided with pistons 21a, 21b, and the spools 15a, 15b are respectively slid on the basis of the operation of the pistons 21a, 21b. On the other hand, the spools 15a, 15b are provided with recessed parts 31a, 31b opened on the faces opposite to each other. Coil springs 32a, 32b are stored in the recessed parts 31a, 31b. Further a stem 33 is inserted in both recessed parts 31a, 31b over the recessed parts 31a, 31b.
