PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage dispenser of a favorable usability wherein the jetting or the like of carbon dioxide at the time of the replacement of a beverage container is avoided by avoiding the imparting of a meaningless high gas pressure when beer in the beverage container is totally consumed, and the cleaning work is facilitated. SOLUTION: For this beer server, a pressure-adjustment control circuit repeatedly performs processes comprising a step 103 to a step 122, and keeps the feeding pressure of carbon dioxide to a beer barrel 80 in the vicinity of a control target pressure PO which is determined in response to the temperature K of the beer in the beer barrel. In this case, when the beer in the beer barrel is totally consumed, the pressure-adjustment control circuit advances the program to a step 124 and after, based on the detection by a beer shortage sensor. Then, the pressure-adjustment control circuit repeatedly performs the processes of the step 124 to a step 128, and controls a pressure-adjusting valve in such a manner that the feeding pressure for carbon dioxide may be kept at a specified target pressure for cleaning, which is lower than before.
