TORSION BEAM TYPE REAR SUSPENSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsion beam type rear suspension capable of improving both of riding comfortableness and running stability without increasing a set height of a mounting point on a vehicle body side of a trailing arm. SOLUTION: In this torsion beam type rear suspension, the mounting point P1 on the vehicle body side of the trailing arm 2 is lower than an elastic central shaft P2 of a torsion beam 1. An axle 5 is connected to the torsion beam 1 at a lower position than the mounting point P1 on the vehicle body side so as to rotate around a rotary shaft P3. A foot part 10 of a stabilizer is connected to an upper part of the axle 5 so as to swing vertically. An intersection P4 of an axial line L1 of the foot part 10 and a straight line L2 passing the mounting point P1 on the vehicle body side and the rotary shaft P3 is positioned more forward and upward in the forward and backward directions of a vehicle than a wheel center WC.
