Independent claims are also included for: (1) a kit comprising at least two compartments, each containing one or two components selected from (I), (II) and an esterifying enzyme; and (2) cosmetic treatment of hair to impart shine and softness by mixing the components of the above kit, applying the resulting composition to the hair, allowing it to act for 1-60 minutes at 20-65degreesC, (preferably 30-65degreesC) and optionally rinsing it off with water.
