The textile material, woven from polymer-coated threads, has some of its warp or weft threads made from brass-covered steel, also polymer coated and with a different color to the basic threads. The wire threads are able to slide relative to the main threads so they can be extracted from the material, and certain of the crossing wires can be welded together or to those in other layers of material.
