PURPOSE: A cooling plate for shaft furnace is provided which is simply manufactured and easily adjusted to curvature of furnace wall and transfers heat to adjacent cooling plates well. CONSTITUTION: The cooling plate(3) for shaft furnace is characterized in that cooling plate has inner coolant channels(4), the inner side(6) facing the furnace axis(5) is planar and the outer side(7) facing away from the furnace axis(5) is formed as a convex progression, the outer side is composed of four to eight planar surfaces(8), and the narrow sides(10) run skew between the inner side and the outer side and dissect the furnace axis(5) in the vertical planes (VE) extending into the narrow sides(10).
