摘要 PURPOSE: Hot back pressure forming apparatus and method are provided to minimize final mechanical processing when manufacturing an Al alloy scroll rotor using net shape forging that is a type of precision forging. CONSTITUTION: The back pressure forming apparatus for hot forging of Al alloy scroll rotor comprises a forming dies for forming scroll rotor in which a reinforcing ring(22) is arranged around a die insert(21) arranged in the center; a holder(23) installed under the forming dies and equipped with holes connected to the die insert(21); an insert for ejecting(25) slidingly arranged inside the holes equipped at the holder(23); a lower pressure fluid reservoir(24) connected to the holes equipped at the holder(23) and formed on the lower part of the holder(23); and a pressure generator an output side of which is connected to the lower pressure fluid reservoir(24), wherein an upper pressure fluid reservoir(27) is formed at the holder(23) in such a manner that the upper pressure fluid reservoir(27) includes the circumference of the die insert(21), and back pressure is supplied to the upper pressure fluid reservoir(27) from the pressure generator, wherein a relief valve is installed on a back pressure line between the upper pressure fluid reservoir(27) and lower pressure fluid reservoir(24), wherein the pressure generator is synchronously operated with a press for hot forging, and wherein the pressure generator is a hydraulic pressure generator.
