PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by simplifying a series of operations relating to operation and stop of an engine generator. SOLUTION: An operation dial 7 is provided on an operation panel 6 of the engine generator 1 and is combined with a cam rotor 8 forming an operation mechanism in an inner surface side of a control panel 6 as one body. A micro switch 9 for stopping an engine 2 is provided adjacently to an outer circumference part of the cam rotor 8 and is connected to a choke mechanism 20 of a carburetor 4 via a wire 10a. The engine generator is stopped, operated, and the choke mechanism of the carburetor 4 is operated, by rotating the operation dial 7 to each operation position. Further, recognition of the operation position and operability are improved by generating click feeling at each operation position and click sound.
