SOLUTION: The hollow snow melting unit 100 is provided with longitudinal pipe members 10, lateral pipe members 20 connected with respective one ends of the longitudinal pipe members 10 and lateral pipe members connected with respective other ends of the longitudinal pipe members 10. The snow melting device includes the hollow snow melting unit 100 and a boiler B. The multistory structure 500 is provided with the snow melting device. Snow accumulated or contacting a snow melting face is melted by feeding steam generated by the boiler B to an internal space of the hollow snow melting unit 100.
