PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a wall connected with a window, in which a partition wall is installed in a position of a windowpane, which can ensure sound insulating properties by bringing and end surface of the partition wall into close contact with a glass surface, and which can also adequately ensure the safety of the windowpane in the inward deformation of the windowpane due to a strong wind, etc. SOLUTION: A flexible sound insulating member 11, which is brought into elastic contact with a glass surface 8a of a fixed window 8 and a glass surface 9a of a transom window 9, is interposed between the glass surfaces 8a and 9a and the end surface of the partition wall 10, which faces the glass surfaces 8a and 9a. The member 11 is composed of: a rubber supporting frame 12 which is installed on the side of the end surface of the partition wall 10; and a silicone rubber 13 which is mounted on the frame 12.
