PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent cockling of a recording medium in a recording device and prevent the marks of spurs caused by spur rollers by smoothly discharging the recording medium after printing. SOLUTION: After printing, a blowing means 128 blows air out of suction holes 108 and 106 of a conventional suction structure, so that the recording medium 1 is separated from a recording medium feeding surface and discharged in discharge direction by an auxiliary feed means 126 while floating, whereby the recording medium 1 is smoothly discharged without use of spur rollers.
