<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable several outer circumferential face parts of a stepped shaft- shaped workpiece, to be sequentially heat treated without changing a heating coil. SOLUTION: The device comprises a heating coil 10 which possesses circular arc parts 11-14 having a slightly larger inner diameter than the corresponding outer diameters to the respective outer circumferential face parts a-d, which have the different outer diameters of the stepped shaft-shaped workpiece W, and a rotating and moving mechanism 20 for rotating the stepped shaft-shaped work W and moving it relatively to the heating coil 10, in order to sequentially heat treat each of the outer circumferential face parts a-d of the stepped shaft- shaped workpiece W, by the heating coil 10.</p> |
