<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of a vehicle traveling control device. SOLUTION: When the traveling speed of a vehicle is at a set value or less and an accelerator pedal is in a non-operated state, a brake is operated to prevent creep movement of the vehicle. A driver can surely recognize not to operate an accelerator. When the manipulated variable of the accelerator pedal is the set value or less, the engine is controlled not to obtain the driving torque according to the manipulated variable of the accelerator pedal but into an idle state. As a result, a pseudo creep phenomenon similar to the creep phenomenon is produced to move the vehicle. The driver can thus pseudo-creep move the vehicle by the operation of the pseudo-creep pedal so as to improve the usability of the vehicle traveling control device.</p> |
