PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator reaction force control device that sufficiently reduces fuel consumption especially at a switchover to a first operating method from a second operating method, in an internal combustion engine switchable, for execution, between the first operating method for a high speed and high load and the second operating method for a low speed and low load higher in fuel consumption efficiency than the first operating method. SOLUTION: Depression reaction force of an accelerator pedal is sharply increased in an engine operating range B' just before a switchover to the first operating method A from the second operating method B.
