PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traverse device capable of reducing the number of part items and frequency of maintenance by eliminating the need of a special converting mechanism, capable of shortening a working time by increasing a speed, and arbitrarily setting an oscillating position and an oscillating angle by numerical control according to the size and shape of a work. SOLUTION: A table 13 is drivingly oscillated by a linear motor 1 disposed in arc shape on a base 12.
