<p>PURPOSE: To provide a device for detecting refuse rising, which can surely detect the refuse rising at any place other than the bottom dead center and suddenly stop a press. CONSTITUTION: In this device for detecting refuse rising, a proximity body 21 is fixed to a stripper plate 5. On the other hand, an eddy current sensor 22 is fixed to a lower die and the amount t of clearance is measured every crank angle. A strip motion expressing the relationship between the amount t of the clearance and the crank angle is stored in a storage means and variation is detected by comparing a stripper motion stored in the storage means with a stripper motion in the present stroke. In the case that this variation is other than a specified range, abnormal signal is outputted to the press.</p> |
