PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aerosol composition containing charcoal powder including that of plant source, excellent in coating film performance, having good operability and enabling stable jetting thereof. SOLUTION: This a aerosol composition comprises a stock solution containing the charcoal powder of plant source, e.g. bamboo charcoal, straw charcoal or true charcoal, a polymer emulsion such as an acrylic polymer emulsion and an organic solvent such as ethanol and a propellant. It is preferable that particle diameters of the charcoal powder of from the plant source is 0.3-74μm and the median diameter is 2 to 11μm. The aerosol composition is used as a charcoal coating material derived from plants.
